Saltwater Tackle Shop Suggestions
In fishing, there are clearly things that work and things that don't.
Keep in mind, many lures are better at hooking fishermen than fish (especially
from an infomercial).
Keep in mind that the saltwater of the Keys is very clear, and proper
terminal tackle is crucial.
- Less is more - tie proven knots. Use swivels and clips only for
offshore for trolling & deep drop fishing.
- Fluorocarbon is highly recommend as a leader material - it is much
less visible in the water (though a bit more prone nicks).
- Circle hooks are proven to be more effective at staying set and sparing
the fish unnecessary harm.
- Protect your eyes and see the fish more clearly with a quality pair
of polarized
fishing sun glasses

| The Florida
Keys are located in the most biologically diverse area of the Atlantic
Ocean. Due to the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean sandwiching
the islands, while the warm Gulf Stream current meanders close by,
the ocean surrounding the Keys contains more species of fish than
anywhere else in the Atlantic.
